Re: AI needed
The link has some problems and it seems that the whole server is down but just try the attachment. AI files don't have to be anything new (I don't even have a name for the race! ) just working.

Re: AI needed
Can't help with AI, sorry. Just posting to say I like the images - a nice shipset. An original race portrait as well.

Re: AI needed
Hi,
I can't help with the AI, either, but I really like the set. I was wondering if you would email me or post here the original 3d files. I'm just getting into modding and, well, it would be fun to tinker with your set, I think. Also, which program did you use to develop this race?
Ciao,

Re: AI needed
Master Belisarius is making the AI so no need to worry about it anymore!
I made the shipset with Pov-Ray scene language. I didn't use Moray or any other wire frame modellers so if you aren't familiar with Pov-Ray there is quite long learning curve before tinkering with my ships. I can post source files here if you still want them.

Re: AI needed
Hi,
I'm interested, but from what you say I don't know if they'll do me much good. I take it from what you say, that there is no standard for 3d files, unlike the several that exist for 2d, such as jpeg. So, unless I'm willing to work in the program you used, they wouldn't be of use.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Adios,

Re: AI needed
I'm not sure what you mean by standard 3d files. Only files that I have are text files full of code similar to C. Pov-Ray is only program that can render the picture that is defined in those files.

Re: AI needed
POV-Rays site has many converters to change between different formats - easy one is morey since it uses POV-ray for its rendering. I perfer POV-ray better myself because its easier for me to work with transformed simple shapes, and for the CSG the the others don't use.
