Glow as in the light coming off from the very very bright strip(s) of white in the middle of the hulls of the ships on that picture.

I like the brightness of the top and bottom ship, but find that the glow of the middle ship is somewhat overwhelming.
I like the ships overall. The glow gives the impression that the ships are charging up to unleash some serious punishment.

That's probably because the glow is lower than what you've seen: the glow on the ships in the wallpaper you've seen before had their glow settings on max; the ship you see over there has it's glow settings at 200% - compared to the 500% max setting.
Also, the first picture ship has less glowing parts the the other ships shown so far, so that might lead to its fake (which is not fake) look.
