Not to get into a debate with someone as knowledgeable as you, Fyron (not intended as sarcasm but as a compliment), I do feel comfortable in the "graphics arena" so I'll say, "Yes, GIMP is free but isn't in the same class as either PS or PSP. Yes, it's free and THAT'S a GOOD point but it's just not in the same class."

Oh I agree... the point was just that it is an alternative to 650 dollars for the latest Photoshop.
