Captain Kwok was the name of the protangonist in a silly space game I made back in high school computer class.

Mine's quite simple. "Renegade" due to the fact that I like the word, and it fits me quite well, as I usually don't fit in with mainstream society. "13" is the most obvious part of all, its my favorite (and lucky ) number. Not that I believe in lucky numbers...

Here's an interesting way to play with this thread, do a google search for your name/nick/handle and see if anything interesting shows up.

Cheers!

btw when I do a 'sensitive' search using quotation marks to narrow down the hits I still get 5 pages of stuff and it is all connected to me "David E. Gervais" I guess that makes me 'almost famous'

Yeah, but how many of those pages are linking to the Avatar thread? 4.9 pages?

Well, a friend of mine called me that before she went to Australia. The name stuck.
My Last GF hated the name and that made it more fun to use it... hehe...
She said it sounded a little bit too dead, like tombstone. A bit strange I guess, because she herself was a fanatic gothic girl. Doesn't make any sense, does it?

tesco samoa

hmmm...

well tesco was my nickname back in the 80's

and well in university (late 80's and early 90's )I lived in a house where we put on concerts and called the place samoa. Each band that played had to play one Angry samoans cover song. As it was the only band that every one in the house had listed in their top 10 bands...

So everyone there called me tesco samoa

And in bbs days i used tesco... so back in the early 90's i updated it to tesco samoa.

Now I use it everywhere.

Also back around 93 to 96 I used to get all the email from that company called Tesco ( not the transport company in North America that we all know over here ) but the box chain in U.K. ( I believe ) I used to answer them and sign them tescosamoa. I soon discovered English people have no sence of humour

My nickname came from FF VIII. It was the first FF game I completed from the start and the name of the ship they use towards the end of the game was called the Ragnarok.

Ragnarok also has something to do with the war of the gods at the end of the world or something like that. It is a bunch of mumbo jumbo that is just fake stories and non-related to the source of my nick.
