Yes, the allegiance "converter" ,LOL, is stopped by the master computer.

Alligence converters are working fine in my copy , if the target has a master computer - I cannot take it over until I have destroyed the MC.

Destroying a master computer should make no difference. What about destroying it conjures up a crew that can then be subverted?

I have never used the component, but what your saying then is if you use those Computer Viruses in conjunction with the subverter you capture ships with MC's by targeting the MC first with virus???

Will / does this work? I'm curious - I've never played as Temporal but hope to start human vs. human. I know many people play Temporal 'cause of the AS and the Temporal SY's and I want to be defensively prepared....

Yes, I think you have it right. The Computer Virus is suppose to be the counter for the Master Computer which is the counter for the Allegience Subverter.

rdouglass: Isn't the allegiance converter a pyschic trait and TSY a temporal? I haven't played as either in a looooong time, so I may be wrong, though.
