They already have. Check out "Angerboda's Great Hag Book of Barbecue" - 3 recipes require the lizards, while it's optional for a dozen others. And her book of stews has some great uses for Marshmasters and Sauromancers as well.

Pretty sure T'ien C'hi has some stir fried Versions as well.
