AST Mod problem

Just re-install from your Gold disc, and apply the patch over it. There's some issues with incorrect .exe timestamps that cause the patch to fail sometimes with other Versions.

Right, things are working well. Only problem now is a few missing pictures, that is the large portraits for most of the new graphics. I have the small on-screen icons for the planets, facilities etc. but not the portraits. Know where I can find them?

You need the imageMod pack. Essentially it's just a slew of extra images for the game. SE.net Image Mod Site
