The Devil Queen was in council with her two most trusted advisors, Sir Deviant - Minister of War and Madam Candice - Minister of State.
The Queen: "You said Plan A was infallible! You said we would have the giant's capitol quite easily. What happenned?"
Sir Deviant: "Um, Stonebrow himself came to the rescue. And the people strongly believed in that false pretender, making him stronger than he really is."
Madam Candice: "My husband is correct. After all, my Queen, you did not participate in the battle as a counterbalance."
The Queen: "I know, but the people living there do not believe in me. You said it was far too dangerous for me to venture into such hostile lands."
Sir Deviant: "It is."
The Queen: "So I cannot help the war effort?"
Madam Candice: "Not Yet."
The Queen: "So what do we do now?"
Sir Deviant: "Plan B."
The Queen: "Yes, Plan B, Plan B!!! Always Plan B. And if that fails?"
Madam Candice: "Then there is Plan C."
The Queen: "I should have known..."
