Fear not Slynky, and join the Followers of Primitive. Within our little association you shall learn to enjoy having a lower score early on, and will delight of being the Last player of the pack. Truly, as the Most Enlightened Primitive himself put it, it could mean the other player(s) have more ships than you do, and are therefore lagging behind in expansion. Of course, if you are still Last by turn 50, you should start worrying. A shame you cannot see the exact score of the other players though.

The other alternative is to join the Geoschmo Alliance, who does not care about score, and actually likes to be Last (at least, he said so to me). But I am not supposed to be recruiting for Geo after all; join the Primitive Ones instead. You will not be disappointed by the quality of our teaching, and we are willing to give you a total refund after the first three courses if you aren't convinced!
