They look cool. Very stylized. I like ship sets that have a consistent feel to them. "realistic" ship sets get boring after a while. And they're definitely identifyable TNG Trek.

Galaxy, Nebula, Galaxy Refit, Enterprise C (Constellation?), Intrepid, Sovereign

Kwok's ships were like that too, but he has his own style.

Bravo. Well done. Can't wait to see the rest of the set.

P.S. Is there a way to up the poly count on those saucer sections? I feel they should be smoother.

I guess AT is making his models with se5 in mind now. se5 wouldn't like high poly count.

Thanks guys. The ploy count on the sources is already pretty high. I have looked at a lot of models over the Last few hours and many share the same rounded look as these.

I need a really good texture for the hulls though. I honestly do not know if I can get the detail that CK had with his models, but I will try to get close.

Also I am not sure if I will ever use these models or not. I would like to as they are my creations, but given the choice between my models and the current ones, I think the current ones win hands down.

Look for updates and two other ships at the STM Forum over on www.spaceempires.net

I like them, it seems every day you get further past the limitations of curves in Doga.

My only complaint are the yellow windows, a tad bit too bright. But other than that the model detail is excellent.

Quite good, actually. The 'angles' on the saucer sections are just barely perceptible. Don't reduce the poly count on those. I don't know if it's because of the background color of this bb or not, but the color seems slightly off. Maybe they'd look better in a black background like they should appear in SE IV. I hope there are enough 'official' ship designs to make a complete set.
