Re: Power Outage -> Server Backup but IP Shifted
I must admit that I have never seen PD over 100 ever before. It was a surprise for sure. And even though I killed a big portion of it, they all just come back at full strength. I wonder if Boron took this into account in his analysis above?

Re: Power Outage -> Server Backup but IP Shifted
I am stunned with the whole concept of 116 PD.
SOooo expensive but no upkeep and replenishes itself totally if it survives the battle.
Everygame I learn something new.
The only problem I see is that an opponent can simply avoi it.

Re: Power Outage -> Server Backup but IP Shifted
But if you hoard fetishes and have a low upkeep you could do it in all your provinces. You also don't castle and have like a mage or two in the battle front and it is devastating. It is unlimitted troops that stop raid armies which a lot of us do. The enemy will then have to dedicate itself to send out very large armies which can then be flamed from the skies, murdering winter, etc.
It is a very interesting strat that I wish we could get more data on its effectiveness. I doubt Panther wants to sacrifice troops for the sake of testing lol.

Turn up.
Oh, and the ultra high PD makes spying all but impossible... not that I would be trying to spy on Marignon or anything. I knew we shouldn't have left that global up so long...

Panther is going to be very mad at me when he watches his battle reports. You should of just let me have the water provinces uncontested because sending that army is going to make it easier for ctis now.

Re: Power Outage -> Server Backup but IP Shifted
Ah, the old Panther is getting ripped on all fronts now. At one time, I thought I might win this game. It seems much less likely now. My army is probably half what it was just 3-5 turns ago.
I have never liked late game on Dominions, and now I know why, lol. For whatever reason, the game seems to get far less enjoyable as the turns become so long and tedious. Especially when out of town on vacation...
The mudslides and road closures in California are giving us problems. We had no less than three detours today trying to get into Los Angeles. And the scenic Big Sur Highway was closed!!! Talk about disappointment. But, of course, it was far better then having the car buried under mud. We never did make it into LA today.
