Re: Yet another reference document.
That's okay, I know it happens sometimes. I've made the same unintentional mistake myself once long ago, and caught heat for it. The reason I pruposely took such a harsh tone here is that I wanted to shock you a bit, it will make you remember it for a very long time and will prevent you from repeating the mistake in the future. I know it did that for me when I unintentionally offended someone I greatly respect and got a very tersely worded admonishment for it. Just thinking about it still makes me cringe, and it has been years...
No hard feelings toward you on my part, and I hope there aren't any on yours either. Feel free to use any and all of my material in the compilation, as long as myname stays in the credits.

Re: Yet another reference document.
Fanaticism is marked as a combat summoning spell.
Great work here by the way!

daesthai-
Check -- Spells:Class:Find Magic Sites
Your gems costs are all wrong, except for Acashic Record.
Dark Knowledge should be 3 gems
Voice of Tiamat should be 8 gems
All others should be 2 gems/slaves

Re: Yet another reference document.
Thanks for the info. =)
Yeah, I'm sure there is a good deal of info that needs to be updated. That's my project for the next week or two as time allows. I constructed the spell tab prior to 2.15 and even then much of the info was gathered from the manual, soooooooooo.
big update pass coming up shortly.

Re: Yet another reference document.
Thanks a lot! Of course, those errors percolated into the spell null mod as well They're now corrected.

Re: Yet another reference document.
I've revised the version number of the .xls to 1.6 and posted the file containing Cherry's fixes (in RAR archive form) to my site as the latest incarnation of The Tome. BTW, the old 1.5 version was actually labelled "1.4" inside the .xls file. I've fixed that prior to uploading it to my site.

Re: Yet another reference document.
Uploaded v1.7 and changed the attachment link in the original post with the new downloadable.
Changes in v1.7
~ implemented Saber Cherry's spelling corrections
~ implemented Bummer_Duck's corrections
(thank you both!)
~ corrected a large number of minor items that had either changed due to patching or that I had just plain gotten wrong to begin with - these include edits to gem costs, fatigue costs, manual page reference nubmers, and spell path requirements. The new numbers come from booting up and verifying straight out of the game (2.15)
~ added in lots of previously missing "national" spells
~ removed tabs for unfinished work
~ removed stats for weapons and armor. They were unnecessary for this document and are easily found in their original format in Edi's documents. (I left the pretender stats because with the links to the availabilities tab I still find them useful)
This pass was quite comprehensive, but please let me know if you discover any mistakes.

Well, you certainly got my attention. I nearly broke my fingers typing away trying to recheck my sources. hehe. Well, as you said, I won't be making THAT mistake again anytime soon.
