No, people are still allowed to know where airports and navigation systems are... they wouldn't be very useful for civillian pilots otherwise...

Any large airport, and most small ones have an area ("store") where you can purchase maps, headphones, and such. Not the novelty shops, but the pilot's areas. Usually the areas where private planes park and get fuel have a varity of items for sale.
