Re: Ships and stuff
Making ships seems to be more fun then I remembered. I made a less friendly looking version of the heart ship.

Re: Ships and stuff
I have used only Pov-Ray when making these. I like to handcode stuff.

Re: Ships and stuff
All of these prototypes are interesting, though for the original 4 the lower right is quite 'conventional'
I like your expansion for the machine ships and the less transparent killer heart ship is nice , would it still be possible to have an 'inside' slightly visible in it though?
Well done! Your ships have lots of promise. It is a shame that they look to high poly for SEV

Very nice. This needs a shipset developed!

Re: Ships and stuff
For the metallic shipset (the one you've expanded on), maybe you could add some variation across the hulls in the form of different shadings or features, unless that is how you want them to look. Just a thought.

Re: Ships and stuff
Oh and Zarix, now that you have returned, any chance of updating your Image Mod mirror?

It is now updated. I hope I got the versions right. Planetpack 11c should be the latest?

Re: Ships and stuff
Did you not update the links? I didn't see any changes. All of the currently listed files are outdated, and the Events pack is missing. The latest versions are on:
http://imagemodserver.mine.nu/other/MM/SE4/imagemod/
Also, you might want to update the listing of mirrors, also based on the mirros linked to by that same page.

Re: Ships and stuff
I did update it. Are you sure you aren't looking a browser history copy? I checked the page in my schools computer and it shows the new one.

Re: Ships and stuff
I really like the less friendly Heart ship design. Looks just mean as hell.
