Encryption means you not only need the data, you also need the key.
Burning it plaintext onto the lunar regolith with a Giant DVD laser, on the other hand...

Re: Any Word On SE.net\'s Return?
Ahh But Kwok has openly denied this attack
Quote:
News Report on Captainkwok.net:
In an unrelated story, Imperator Fyron's Spaceempires.net website remains down. The reason is unknown, although some might think that Captain Kwok of the Space Empires Depot has sabotaged the site in a long running one-sided imagined rivalry. This is false.
|
Maybe Kwok got a secret third party involved. He seems to smart and devious to go for a direct strike

Word around the Spaceport is that Fyron is using his Resource Reclamation Plant to recover his site - perhaps it might return shortly?

The first parts of a fixed SpaceEmpires.net are peeking through www.spaceempires.net

Re: Any Word On SE.net\'s Return?
A third party involved in the attack against SE.net? There was no French connection here, really! That Fyron uses phrases like "Vive la balle!" should be dismissed as being inconsequential too. My leave in the past few days also bears no link with the attacks against SE.net.
So I really did nothing to bring down SE.net, and Fyron along with it (not even in memory of that cursed-by-the-Balance contract he made me sign). Honest here! Who said I was too eager to defend myself? I am just saving time for the people who will handle the case, by pointing out I am *not* involved in any way whatsoever.
Now Kwok, if you will please send that check?
