Infestation tech
well as you all know im working on a wonderfull lil mod and i intend to put space monsters in it.i also intended to put in borg assimilation tech.Last night i was playing starcraft ( the zerg as useal0and while i was mopping the floor with the terren i realized if the zerg can infest and assimilarte species then solomen grundy want infestation too.so i decided to create an organic Version of assimilation tech for insecticoid space monsters im thinking along the lines of gkiving a queen ( a ship for space monsters that when insectoid is selected has a built in reproductive organ (space yard) and ill give it the Boarding party ability as well because i dont want drones or workers infesting things also BTW other then troops is there any thing that can without destorying facilitys conquer a planet i dont mean intel)but back to infestation ii may even add a egg ship sort of thing that a queen can luanch inta space and whenever you choose suprise it hathes but the beuty of it is when its in egg form the armor is insane and its cloaked! also for some more infestation ideas see my Ship Seperation post!but onto other things i also intend to give insectoids a life draininfg componentxs(is this possible)yaknow so its like a mosquito.
