Re: Shepherds of Creation Game 1 Thread
Ah, finally got it to work.
I think this game has gotten cursed, horror marked and diseased...

How many simultanious instances were needed? Or were you just lucky (and ethereal)?

It worked with 3, though I did that many (and more) earlier today with no effect.

Wow, what a bizarre work-around!
The third simultaneous DomII window worked for me too. So once more, the game progresses.

Weird!
30 h until host, but I rebooted just for the sake of it. You shouldn't need three windows to play.
The other games doesn't have this kind of problem. At least not to my knowledge.

SOC2 doesn't seem to have any of the problems.
EDIT: uh-oh, since the reboot, I can't connect and the 3 windows work around no longer works.

I am playing in one of the two private games running: The game started 2nd of march and we're in turn 24+ by now. Most players use a dom2-client on windows, no one encountered problems so far to my knowledge - and we're talking to each other about the game quite often.
I am doing my turns mostly on a linux laptop connected at various places and occasionally from a windows desktop. I did not encounter any connection problems with the shepherds game so far either. So I must say that connection with the Illwinter server works well for me...
