Very nice. Now I can modify my "Province Defence as insane as you want it" program to have more types of defenders!

Very nice indeed.

I suggested that list like this would help me on my idea of assigning provinces or themed areas spesial defenders. I presume this is for that.

The format works, and the terrain specification is a great idea.

I had once offered to write a more logical defenders program than the ones I run now which are fairly random. This one (though water should be added) would allow a program to give a random commander with wandom equipment and a few random bodyguards with a random amount of troops.. to each province on the map.

Now if someone wanted to create another list of monsters that like mountains, water, forest, swamp, etc etc. And maybe another list of sites that make sense in water, mountains, swamp, etc etc. Then the after DomMap creates a large random map to play on then this program could go thru the .map file adding other interesting goodies.

Its EVEN possible to recognize things based on the number of neighbors it has. Such as lakes, islands, corners, and chokepoints.

If I was still paid for this I would have drawn that out over time dropping one tidbit at a time.
I will now leave you to your head swimming
