Meanwhile, in a yard at the very edge of infinity (the far edge, mind you, not the near edge,), work has begun on the Murphy's Law [insert roman numeral here]. The yard operates on a simple premise; they build a Murphy's Law, and start on the next one as it leaves the dock.

Quite incorect. As the firing of the antimatter cannon was the result of a misfire, it cannot then misfire.
And all the Murphy's Law planatiods were built by Narf.
He is a mad scientist, you know. Plot convenience let's him build all sorts of things.

If they can get this suspended animation to work for humans, I could deposit, say, $100 in the bank and then stay in stasis for 1000 years and then wake up a rich man. On second thought, this probably won't work because of inflation and service charges.
