Default Re: Movement Chart Speed 18

How about:
Move along the edge of the system, away from the enemy fleet and possibly away from the star.

As soon as they will have reached the edge, you can run for the star and make it there first. All you have to do is delay until they run out of MP and can't make it to the star that turn.

So, if you run to a corner, then go back and forth until the enemy should be close, then run down the opposite edge, the enemy will follow you to that edge. With your last 6 mp, rush the star. Since the enemy fleet presumably has less speed, they should not make it to the star by the end of the turn.

That is what I am planning on. I have speed 18 with the Emergency Propulsion, they are speed 10. The only issue is that I am in a corner and depending on Movement days they could potentially intercept me before I can get out of the corner. Once I get the chart I should be able to plot a safe movement away from them and then to the star.

If both possible directions will put you the same distance from the enemy fleet, it dosen't matter which way you go.

Presuming the enemy is starting close to you:
If one direction is further from the enemy fleet, go that way, no question.
