system shield
Hi
I am just playing a game, and I was wondering if I am to build a system shield to stop my enemys from opening them up, does it stop me from opening them up also, as I want to build one in every system I have, but I want to use the planet creator.
Thanks

Re: system shield
System Gravitational Shield Facilities prevent warp points from being opened or closed to or from the system they're in by anyone, including their owner. They also prevent anyone, including their owner, from using star destroyers, nebula creators, and black hole creators in the system, but they have no effect whatsoever on star creators, planet creators, and planet destroyers regardless of ownership.

Re: system shield
I thought it was all steller manipulations, that sounds good then, I will start building in every system, set up my "network" of warp points and then create planets later!
Thanks

Re: system shield
Note: If you have enough warp openers and/or time, there is an alternative way to prevent warp points being opened to your systems without making it so difficult to do it yourself. If there are 10 warp points already in a system, no more can be opened. If you can set up 10 warp points in every system you have, no one else will be able to open warp points from the outside, but you will be able to close some warp points and reopen them to different destinations in the same turn if you're careful and plan and time it just right.
