Re: Any One Still Stay Up All Night Playing?
Hi Atrocities,
Your Star Trek mod had me pulling all-nighters a few weeks ago. It's a terrific mod and I tip my cap to you. Thanks!
Lately, however, all I've been doing is working on a new map while waiting for your next update.
Again, thanks. Your mod and my map-editing are among the few things helping me to survive my work situation -- well, not the work itself but my co-workers. (I dream of finding a job where my colleagues are A. professional, B. dedicated and C. supportive. Oh, well.)

Re: Any One Still Stay Up All Night Playing?
I don't do all-nighters because of work, but I have been known to play "just one more turn" past 11 pm. I probably would not play all night even if I could, because I just don't have that kind of energy any more.
But I probably play SE4 more than any other game.
The wife doesn't give me any problems, knowing that I work hard and also do a lot of things around the house. Playing SE4 is more fun and a lot cheaper than hanging around at a bar.
As you know, Atrocities, I recently entered the wonderful world of your Star Trek Mod. Over the last few weeks I read several Trek novels, and really wanted to try the mod out. Saturday I had a few hours where I had to be away from home, so I started the DL and it was done by the time I returned.
So now I have one STM game going (Klingons), plus 2 DevNull ones going (Klingons and Ferengi) and one stock game going (Crugarians).
BTW, last week it was terribly hot where I live, but now it's cooled off considerably and I have come down with a cold. It figures: first day of summer and I have a cold. If it's worse tomorrow I will call off, take the wife to her job, come home and then play SE4 for much of the day.

Re: Any One Still Stay Up All Night Playing?
First off, AT, if you're looking for something to do, take a trip up North, to Canada. Come for a visit!
Second, yep I still stay up playing SEIV. Actually, most recently I stayed up playing SEIII...don't know, I still get the urge to play after all these years. SEIV...well I'd play it all night, and do sometimes, except I love huge, 255 system galaxies, and with my computer after about 100 turns, the turn processing takes forever. So I kinda lose interest after the turns take 5 or more minutes to process. Not to mention the fact that within those 5 minutes I usually fall asleep!

Re: Any One Still Stay Up All Night Playing?
No, I regret every time I played all night & looked like a C.H.U.D. the next morning. It takes days to recover from one of those sessions, too. So I am determined not to do that anymore. Not even with SE V. Come to think of it, I've still got to get my suggestion in to include some sort of alarm in SE V that warns you how late it is.
