Re: Private Message
Another victory over the evil armies of Tien Chi! For the second turn in a row the enemy is thoroughly routed. The fire-blessed Red Guards and Celestial Soldiers did manage to inflict significant casualties on the nature-blessed Herses and Woodsmen, but the cost is easily bearable, with fresh troops flowing up form the heartland every turn.
Of course, it seems there is no end to these Tien Chi armies either, but their eventual victory shall be dearly bought!

Re: Private Message
Hmmm interesting to see that making the hellsword do -10 damage was not quite enough to adequately nerf it
At least that Golem did not completely blenderize my army...

Re: Private Message
Jotum probably has to best chance against a hellsword golem because you can actually hurt it at 26 prot and give it afflictions. Now I have to summon a new one this turn and transfer the gear and heal the afflictions of the old golem which will take a few turns and give him new gear. Bah the hassles. Anyway I have another sc coming your way but hes not a golem. One that will theoretically do better than the golem.
Soapy did the troops that routed die because I dont see a province they could of retreated to?

Re: Private Message
Hmmm ... a golem you say? I guess astral weapon reared it's ugly head. That is a pity. It was one of the openings Zen left in the mod.

Re: Private Message
Seems like a fair opening, since you have a counter with magic duel. (and for the golem, other counters as well). Anyways, I don't think the idea was to completely eliminate life drain weapons.

My capital shall be reclaimed.
I teleported my oracle into next to my capital(owned by pyth) then bought mercs in that province and invaded my capital to recapture it!

Aku: Why would I tell you what happened to my army if you do not know?
Are golem's magic beings? If so then its time to forge some moonswords...

Re: Private Message
Another great victory for the forces of Soapyfrog!
Once more the main hosts of Jotunhelm and Tien Chi clashed on the field outside the fastness of Narfell. The Green Dragon of Soapyfrog and the Red Dragon of Yuck Fou had both taken to the field to provide encouragement to their respective hosts.
A great cry went up from both armies and the battle was joined. Enormous Herses and Woodsmen swung their swords and axes hewing the ranks of Red Guards and mowing through militia like the chaff that they were. A few celestial soldiers were on hand to bolster the ranks and indeed they held firm for a time as their lesser comrades melted away...
As the TC ranks broke and the Jotuns pursued through a hail of crossbow bolts, Yuck Fou succumbed to the throng that surrounded him, dying for the second time in this ill-begotten war. Desperately the remaining TC commanders attmepted to rally the troops with deed of great courage, but one by one they were slain until none remained. Out of 189 souls, but 32 wretched individuals escaped...
A great victory for Jotunheim! If only someone would aid the noble giants, it is clear that this war could be turned around... alas, with a fresh Abysian army taking the field there can be no question but to continue with a desperate defence, making my enemies bleed for every piece of land they covet!!
