loading last saved game freezes SEIV

Having no paging file is asking for trouble, as it eliminates most of the benefits of virtual memory. This is especially true with smaller amounts of RAM. Try defragmenting your hard drive, then recreating the paging file.

Thanks. I've tried turning it on a few times, but it won't stay after a restart. I don't think I've tried to defrag it yet though, at least not since before I lost it. I'll see what happens tonight.
