Mine arrived today, No problems.. up and running without a hitch. I now have three versions installed, one for my old pbem games, one for my edited OOB and mods, and the CD version. All seem very happy to coexist.
Maybe you got a duff CD?

Given that his attempts failed on several PCS, it seems as if a duff CD is most likely the proximate cause.

fyi, Scott already put in a request to customer service a few days ago and a new CD is on it's way to him.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the quick turnaround. I recieved quick respones from tech support over the weekend and was notifed yesterday that a new CD shipped Monday morning. Will post when I install the new CD.

Got the CD today and it installed fine. Had a bit of a scare still though, for it crashed on start with page fault errors. I isolated the problem to the running of the intro/splash screen. I turn it off and it runs fine. My main game PC is rather old and picky so it's problematic at times. I also installed it on my wife's 3ghz Shuttle PC and it worked fine with the splash turned on.
Thanks for the quick turn around getting a new CD out to me.
