Re: Turn 57
Turn 58
I count on a storm, so I can cast storm power, so I can cast mass flight, which doesn't work because flight doesn't work in a storm. I really need to start thinking these things through.
My gambling keeps not paying off, but what else is new.

Re: Turn 57
I see about 1000 Ermor troops on my borders, don't know what else is out there of his that I can't see. For me, it's time to weather the storm... the undead storm. So, I've started with a global. We'll see how long it lasts (saving up that 250 extra fire gems better be worth it).

Turn 58
Turn 58
The province tally is: Ermor 62, Pangaea 44, Marignon 28, and Jotunheim 17. The fort tally is unchanged: Ermor 11, Marignon 8, Pangaea 7, and Jotunheim 3. Gem income fell for Pangaea. Marignon hired Dagan, and Pangaea hired the Master Assassin. The Lost Legion is open for bidding. Ermor lost two Hall of Fame heroes, including one who joined Pangaea.
Shmonk, if large armies scare you, be warned! You ain't seen nuthin' yet!

Re: Turn 58
Shame that mass flight didn't work. The idea of dead elephants flying over castle walls really cracks me up.

Re: Turn 58
Flying dead elephants?? Boy, I'm missing all the fun stuff.
All I get our flying arrows, or the occasional hawk. But no elephants. Heck, I'd even take a flying horse.

Re: Turn 59
Turn 59
Only two random attacks this turn. Joy. One of those is the ermorian cultist one.
Champion of Pangeae gets in the hall of fame after his first fight where he killed 2 guys, but in the hall of fame he has 10 kills?
I don't know why people find the deathmatch worthless. It's +150 experience, good chance of hall of fame ability and the trident has good stats and quikness.

The province tally is: Ermor 64, Pangaea 43, Marignon 26, and Jotunheim 17. The fort tally is unchanged: Ermor 11, Marignon 8, Pangaea 7, and Jotunheim 3. Gem income increased for Ermor and Pangaea and decreased for Marignon. Ermor rehired The Lost Legion. Obscuro and Mamor are open for bidding. Ermor lost another Hall of Fame hero.

The deathmatch is generally considered worthless because whoever wins it MUST FIGHT in all subsequent deathmatch battles. Since your enemies then know exactly what you will be sending to the deathmatch, they can customize thier response and kill your (probably valuable?) unit. This is particularly the case if you send your Pretender into the ring (!!!!)
