The vertical wing-things seem much too long, but I haven't played it in a while.
The big engine glow from the 64 version would be a good addition.

Well, I made the "vertical wing things" (gravitic stabilizers?) as well as the wings longer for the medium and large fighter, relative to the cockpit/nose section... if you look closely at the pic you might notice there are 3 different fighter models
