Laser rangefinders on light AFV

Hi all,

I was wondering, in the game manual it says that a value of 14 or more in the range finder stats is a laser range finder but all IFV like the Bradley only sport a 12 or 9 when it is a known fact they have laser rangefinder (for example, the canadian Kodiak has a laser rangefinder for the 25mm but is only rated a 9 in rangefinder).

Is there something I miss ?
