Settings.txt now calls for track names. You have to just add new songs to settings.txt (and put them in the music folder) to get them used in-game.
I'm probably missing the point... is it that it is cool for mod based music? Otherwise is it any better than turning SEIV sound off and using your own music player?
Edit: Oh, does it mean you can play certain tracks for the mood? Like a combat track, etc.?
Im glad about the fix, I always get the access violation around every 80 turns, it just happens randomly, but autosave and reload the turn fixes it, im glad it was recognised because when I posted about it I think people just said my pc was wrong...
