Wow, caine. That was really brave, sending your pretender into the Deathmatch. Certainly he won this time, but what happens next time now that everyone knows where to find him? Thats what always scares me away from sending my pretender.

i guess the thought is that in order to beat him, someone would have to send something equally valuable... I know I have nothing to try

Yeh - I figure that until someone gets ice devils (or maybe a Firbolg or wraith lord) or elemental royalty, I have a bona fide destroyer of armies. (After all, is not a God defined by the armies trampled underfoot?  ) And by the next death match, I have a good chance of getting rid of the trident anyways.
Just have to fill his slots so no one can foist a cursed item on him.
