So, now that you've patched Gold to DeLuxe, happy?
From what I can read the difference is that you can play Mp3 instead of CD music, right?
Anything else?
Meaning.. should I reinstall and patch or continue my wait for FIVE?

I'd re-install and apply the patch. There's a few fixes, including one for seekers to hit seekers and the another for the map editor.

Deluxe is worth the patch and its not like its incompatible with 1.91

Making a copy of your install to patch, so that you have both gold and deluxe is the best idea.
I haven't heard of any incompatibilities, and you should be able to play your PBW turns using either one.
If you are on dialup, you should let the torrent version run overnight.
If you're on high speed, you should have the patch already

Hey, some people said 'no' when asked if they are answering the poll. How is that possible.
Anyway, I patched to Deluxe and played two games so far. It's good. I'd say don't wait for SEV because we could be waiting for a while.

Pretty bizarre poll. My actual responses are:
I never uninstalled SE4, so "reinstall" and "wait" aren't appropriate - I have about six installations... I guess I could install another for the Deluxe patch. I haven't bothered to install the Deluxe patch yet. I continue to happily play Proportions mod PBW games.
SE5 looks like it'll be a pretty different game. It'll be interesting to see how it works out. Hopefully, a lot better than Star Fury, for my tastes.
