One guy got on-top of an Italian tankette, but was only armed with his sword.
He yelled in italian for the crew to open up, and they did. I'm sure you can imagine the rest.
Even a locked down tank is easy to get into. All you need is a spanner, and about 10 seconds. Fun fact #1: you can reach the internal comander's hatch release on a cheiftain, from the outside, I know I've done it.
