You can also just copy startmenu.bmp from the pictures/game/dialog folder to the pictures/game/dialog folder of the Star Trek Mod too. 
There is no real 'fuss' about steam owners. I suppose that some of the steam-version buyers tried to apply the 1.95 patch (which was for the regular version) which might have caused them problems... so SFI removed the patch download temporarily until last night and a new appeared... which I assumed prevents the steam-version from being patched. |
