at least the senate will allow you some comfort to rebuild, likely even the weakest nations will make it into the late game, by account of the CoW game, anyway.

yes, but a slow start is quite damageing since other players often grab territorys you would have otherwise gained.

You guys are getting all these bad events. I have turmoil 3/luck 3 and havnt gotten a single event. Good or bad.

my events haven't been devistating, lost my temple, but already have an inquisitor to rebuild it with. otherwise they've been mostly gems or small gold events.

Oh yeah, well there was the time I got a "handful of earth gems" and I check my lab and see ONE. They could've at least not pluraled it.

getting 1500 gold in one turn is definitely feasibile. in rand2, i got 2 of the 500gold events in the same turn. the sad thing was that i had no problem spending every penny of it that turn
