unfortunately this is not the case, unless I am doing something wrong here. If you switch your units to computer control via the headquarter menu, you are prompted for your orders in every next order phase and the game stops until I press the continue button, which I would love to avoid. With the old system you don´t get asked for orders or pressing buttons unless you hit "ENTER".

@Boomer: A big "Hello" also to you. Nice to meet all the "old" guys again. Seems like we are all more or less addicted to this game since the very first days back in the 90s, LOL!

You are right,

if you set animations to off and all display settings to zero, the game will run very quickly,

BUT you will still need to press the "end turn" in order to proceed to the next turn...

Sorry, I can't think of anything else.

[actually there is something that you can do (by using the scenario editor), but it won't be compatible with the campaign format].

just ask Andy if he is willing to implement the necessary code from Win-MBT (if it isn´t already there and only needs activation) and everything should be back and running fine as it was before.

Otherwise great game and great job! We have been waiting a long time for this baby.
