				 Experience
Can anybody explain what effect experience has? I have started a game with a 'young-22000XP' race and it seemed to have no effect. I checked the help files and whilst experience is mentioned, the files don't explain what/why experience is/isn't? useful |

				 Re: Experience
Experience doesn't actually do anything. It's just a counter. It was going to do something, but it was deemed unbalancing.
On the other hand, you do get neat titles out of it.

				 Re: Experience
I can well imagine the trouble it would cause. Imagine joining a pbw game full of new players and using the race you have used in every game for the last 3 years. Worse than picking religious. |

				 Re: Experience
It wouldn't be such a problem, though: you can get insane amounts of experience with a little mod, so reaching the highest level should only take a few minutes (just build a few gazillons of empty 1,000,000 kt hulls).
Hexadecimal editing should also work, if you prefer to go that way. In any case, experience is really just for kicks.

I think 65,535 is the largest hull you can have
