One year, back in 92, we had a heat wave here and I was working night shift for the big Red S. One morning, after a grooling night stocking and cleaning, the manager came in and ripped us a new one because the work wasn't done. I asked him if he had slept well that night, and he rather rudely responded by saying, "No, the heat kept me awake."
