boycotting TV shows doesn't work on the long term. Basically it tells the studios, "No one likes this stuff anymore, not even the fan base so why spend on any future development?"

In reality, the best way to make a tv show better is to actually get into the production studios or teams and make it better.

Take, for example, star trek's artists and designers. Most of them grew up as the dweeb in the side of the classroom (they coudn't get in the back because all the cool kids were there) doodling starships.

Besides, I always thought a neat series for trek to do would be a ship that followed enterprise around trying to fix all the civilizations Kirk messed up.
