SEIV - Nessesary AI's question?

I, too, have become increasingly interested in trying my hand at SEIV modding. Speech files (I've always found the stock speech files lacking), design names, etc.

I've even been toying with the idea of developing an entirely new race. Don't know where I'd get the shipset, though.

Maybe there are some orphan shipsets out there...?

There are lots of shipsets that have no AI files. I know that TerranC never does any for his sets, maybe hook up with him?

You could download the shipset mega file, if I could remember where that is linked at...I'm sure there are ton of shipsets in there that probably dont have any AI, or need new AI's, and spiffing up...
