Re: Anansi
Since his description has him listed as douser of all fires, creater of the first fire and son of the wife of the sky... I suggest adding 25 % fire resistance and 25% lightning resistance.
25% is a pretty small amount yet this would support the definition of the pretender.

They are meaningless on purpose. "He is said to be the son of the wife of the sky" versus "It is known that God Spider is a great trickster, lier and storyteller." I'd love it if I could make all his pretender titles totally meaningless, and have him have few more just for the fun of it.
Also, I wrote "the son of the wife of the sky" instead of "son of the sky" on purpose. From Wikipedia:
"Asase Yaa is the earth goddess of fertility in the mythology of the Ashanti people of Ghana. She is the wife of Nyame the sky god. In Ashanti mythology she gave birth to two sons, Bia and Tano. However, in their folklore she is also the mother of Anansi the trickster god."
While his own article states him as the son of the sky god, the way Asase Yaa article gave me an impression that an even greater trickster had had his hands in the mess.

Re: Anansi
Providing him the 25% fire resistance simply provides a reason for the comment of "douser of all fires"... whether or not the title is true doesn't matter.
For example... I could create a human pretender after a relative and provide the title "greatest of all fighters", but it would also seem out of place if the strength and attack variables were as normal as any other human commander.

You are probably right, but I don't like those changes. I might change the description at some point, perhaps to make God Spider's deeds too Munchausen for it to be clear that they are just exaggerations and stories.

Re: Anansi
Do you think the cost is too low? He's so flexible, I'd almost bump him up to 50. That's just my gut sense, without referring to charts. But the other Pretenders I can think of in the 30-35 range (Enchantress, for example) are much more limited in terms of power.

I based him more on the Manticore. Hmm. The Smoking Mirror of Mictlan is 60 points, F1D1B1, new paths 20 points. Less versatility but easier access to high-level blesses in any of those three, so I'd say level 1 path is about equal to being [pathcost] points more expensive. So he's 20 points for a Jaguar form, and more expensive new paths than other humans.
The spider form is worth at least the 30 points, and the sneakiness might also be. I must agree, he is currently a too cheap. Any ideas on a new price? Would 50 points be enough? Or 50 points and dominion 2?
