Why is the table of contents on a new page now?
Imho it was better on the starting page.

				 Re: strategywiki problems
Hi DominionsFan, i moved it to the "correct" position (see also the discussion page) to make the Show/Hide link on the topright corner work correctly. There existed two different Table of contents before (the "official" one with the blue show/hide link and the "false" one on the front page). I tryed to sync those two tables of Content but it was a ugly work. In my Opinion it is better to concentrate on one table of content, the "official" one (supported by the blue show/hide link and also the blue top menu). In this way, every user is able to hide/display the Table of Content from the wiki front page at will. Before, it always eated up a lot of space with redunant information. Doing so will also help to make strategywiki more streamlined and professional looking. Please try syncing the two different tables yourself and you will see what i mean.

 | Ah finally I've found that show/hide thing.
Yeah this is good as it is now.

				 Re: strategywiki problems
About a third of the way through my effort I realized that I had not properly made the pages sub-pages of the previous sections, and as I noted in my previous post, there did not seem to be any way to easily fix it without deleting and re-creating everything.
Thanks for your efforts in keeping the stuff, I now know how to do it properly.

Hm. Occurs to me that it shouldn't be too detailed -- we want it to be a good description of the game, something for a prospective buyer or for somebody looking for discussion/details, but not a replacement for the manual.

 | Hm, why is that a problem if it is too detailed? I think that more details = happier people. In fact take a look at Sunray's site for example. It is excellent because it contains lot of infos about Dominions 2. for example.

				 Re: strategywiki problems
I agree, the Wiki should be detailed, just with detail that is not in the manual. The Wiki can explain things that are just glossed over in the manual - it can have various play strategies and reason swhy the game is worth playing. As well as a general friendly intro to the game

 DominionsFan --
Mostly to avoid making it too easy for those who obtain unauthorized copies of the game, that's all.

We might also want spoiler warnings at some point. *shrug*

 | Hm unauthorized copies? What is that means exactly? You mean illegal copies?
Hm....but wait those people can also read the various PDF files and sites like Sunray's.
