Tech Tree
In the mods area there is a tech tree for the regular unmodded Version of SEIV.
It is an Excel (saved in '97 format) workbook containing 5 worksheets:
1. A spreadsheet of the full TechArea.txt.
2. A spreadsheet of the full Component.txt.
3. Tree view for Applied Sciences.
4. Tree View for Theoretical Sciences.
5. Tree View for Weapon Technology
Each of the trees show the prerequisite development for both the area and the specific component. I haven't included the ship sizes in the tree yet- just research areas and components.
Hope someone finds this useful- especially other newbies like me-- great game!

PS- OOPS! I've already found a couple of glitches where my perl scripts didn't do such a great job- apparently warp weapons fell into a black hole- please let me know if you find any other inconsistencies and I'll patch them.
