Researchers getting battle afflictions. Bug?
Okay, when playing the demo, I noticed that my researching druids were getting battle afflictions, like unhealing wounds. They were all just sitting in my home province and had never been under attack, only researching from time of recruitment. I guess those paper cuts are getting to be a real menace.
Anyway, is this some kind of bug? I looked through the bug thread and didn't see it mentioned there.

Sounds like it -- it's extra fun if you have Gift of Health running. Sages get sick, then get better, then get sick again. Gift of Health = Dominions' PPO.

Sounds right.
Druids start out fairly old.
The ones with afflictions should have the old age icon (white head)
That'll show you current age and the start of old age.

Yep, that is aging.

Okay, so Battle Afflictions = Old Age afflictions?
How do you get battle wounds from old age? That's what had me confused. It doesn't make sense.

Hehe you will see even more weird afflictions because of old age, example your commander will loose an arm etc.
Just think about it as an affliction, not battle affliction.

Yea, for example losing an arm could simply be it being infected and being amputated. If battle fright is attainable just imagine him going mad and cowardly (as old folks do )

Or losing use of the arm, or an eye. I figure if they can do crude surgery to replace a heart or an eye with a magic item, they can do crude surgery for regular stuff Some of them are kind of weird though.
