Re: strategywiki problems
I think if people are going through the trouble of getting an illegal copy and obtaining a CD key through nefarious means, then denying easy access to a site that gives them tips on how to play Pangaea is not going to help or hinder their life of crime significantly.
I think the purpose of the Wiki is to provide an easily searchable resource for generic questions that are not to be readily found in the manual:
What is the best magic item path to take a mage from Earth-2 to Earth-5?
What are the national heroes for late-era Ermor?
What maps has Jason Lutes done?
What is a "Blitz Game"?
What Super Combattant chassis have people had success with?

Re: strategywiki problems
Hahaha, yeah, but I think that mentioning several different aproaches and their advantages and disadvantages is good. =)

Nations are set up in the Wiki
So now we need some content! We have decent strategy discussions on Golden Age Arco and Kailasa. Who wants to take on another? We have, uh, like fifty left to go. Alternative strategies are welcome as well, I imagine. Here's the link to the nations page so you can navigate. Note that some are subsumed under others, i.e., you'll find Helheim under Vanheim sorta like in the official manual.

Re: Nations are set up in the Wiki
I think that we should get more than numbers in the wiki, for instance I have found that Warriors of the Five Elements (Tien'Chi EA) are very effective as early game anti mages. Basically what I am trying to say is we should get little snipits of info that detail how a unit functions in a practical situation. I know that made no sense, but I tried

Re: Nations are set up in the Wiki
No, you make perfect sense! This is exactly what I think we should have in the nation section; stuff like recruit lists and castle types are covered in Sunray's excel file and the manual. How to properly utilize Machaka's blessed troops needs to go in the wiki. It is a "strategy wiki" after all, not a substitute for the manual.

I guess I'll try Shinuyama next. This one appears to be a challenge though

Don't be shy about changing the existing stuff too though -- it's a Wiki, the old stuff is not lost and if your changes suck, someone will change it back no harm done.
