Naiads lose one hitpoint every turn they are away from their home province. An easy way to get around this little problem is to give them a ring of regeneration. They don't seem to get afflictions from from losing these hitpoints. Either that or i just got lucky when i used them, even if they do get afflictions it's not a big deal since they have recuperation.
