Dang, and Herbert's universe also has three ages.

EA: pre-God Emperor, rise of Muad'dib (war, power of the trade guilds, the stuff from the movie...maybe a blind human pretender?)

MA: height of God Emperor-hood (docile populace, cloning, massively powerful but immobile pretender)

LA: after he [spoilers his spoiler] (lord knows)
