Default Anim8or Question

I'm remaking my Ork ships for SEV, and have to start from scratch since my original models were made in POV-ray and have way to many polys even if I can get them converted. I have tried using Doga, but making them is rather awkward and gives me a model taking hours to merge points in Anim8or to close gaps and correct overlapping parts.

Is there a way that I can enter in 3d mesh points individually (like making a cube by entering in the coordinates for the 8 corners). I'm not very familiar with anim8or, and am having a lot of problems with it (POV-ray was so much easier)

Or, does anyone know of a program to convert POV-ray files, or a different 3d program that would let me manually create meshes.

Thanks
Atraikius

Default Re: Anim8or Question

try blender, much much more robust then anim8or but it's interface is a little hard to pick up, once you do, you'll get the flow down.
