Re: LA Man Strategies
Death 9 bless, Death Weapons, is melee only... but increased affliction chance works for missiles. Wardens with 250% affliction chance at Crossbow range?
Also, it seems there are quite a few LA nations that can't use their native gem income. Ulm gets 2 Death, 1 Astral and 1 Nature gem, but can only get N1 and D1, and even those only through randoms.

Re: LA Man Strategies
LA Man seems pretty straightforward since they have amazing troops. Decent equipment AND crossbows.
The Wardens are good blesstroops, but i'm not sure if a bless strat is worth it...
I myself would perhaps take a pretender with fire and nature so he could cast Flaming Arrows and make Elixirs of Life for the Magisters you don't want to die of old age.

Re: LA Man Strategies
Currently i was trying death and nature on a pretender, i will see if i can get a decent fire/nature build working though, one problem i can see with taking fire and nature is how, other than royalty, i would get any summonable SC's/thugs.

All the "kings and queens" summons : elemental kings/queens, troll king, etc ...

Re: LA Man Strategies
Well i actually forgot about trolls but i guess i could make some of them too (although upkeep and gem cost are very steep for them)

Gold upkeep for the regular trolls is high so they should be near the front lines... the Troll King himself is worth keeping alive long_term. Regular sea trolls don't cost as much and can enter water provinces yet large armies can be costly after awhile. The Sea King himself is also definitely worth keeping long_term.
