Removing abilities?

For now, you can use #copystats to copy a Skeptic, perhaps an Oreiad, and change or remove the abilities you don't want.

How do you remove traits after copystats?

Re: Removing abilities?
For now, by using a 'clear' command, unfortunately.

Doesn't #clear kind of... Clear the copied stats?

You can remove SOME of them. Resistances, magic levels (you should be able to change them to 0), the kind of things that are set to certain level instead of just "on" or "off". So it's more of the "change" than "remove".

Yup, but aside from a few 'universal' traits, it's the only way to. That's why it's unfortunate.

Re: Removing abilities?
Can magic levels be reduced with #magicskill? I used #copystats to make Pythian iconoclasts out of Marignon inquisitors and attempted to reduce their Fire skill to zero by that very method, but it didn't seem to work. Ended up using #clearmagic instead, which got rid of that pesky Fire skill and left the inquisitor ability in place like I wanted.

Re: Removing abilities?
I would imagine they could be reduced with #magicbonus -1, or whatever it's called.

Re: Removing abilities?
Put #copystats just after #new/selectmonster, before all the rest of the commands, otherwise they dont overwrite the old stats. Meaning, any command before #copystats gets ignored if that trait is present in the copied monster.
