Question about a site that does dmg to undead
There is a province that is doing damage to my undead units. I know that means there is a site there with that effect.
I would like to know how much damage this effect does. I have a rainbow Master Lich who is doing site searching. I think he has 6 hitpoints. I am curious if he will die after he searches the site.
I would like to know if I should save that province for last when I site search if it is going to kill him and send him back to his home province.
Thanks,
Chris

6 hp?
*frown*
Can't help with the specific damage, but... if he has only 6 hp, I'd suspect that he's outside his dominion -- and that means that immortality won't save him if he dies.

Re: 6 hp?
One turn probably wouldn't be able to take out your pretender, at least from my experience. Undead-blasting sites tend to do damage pretty slowly. Of course, I could be wrong.

Re: 6 hp?
Sites that kill undead are (almost?) always holy, so your pretender can't find them anyway. Use your prophet.
But yes, I agree with Taqwus, keep your god out of there until you have a nice safe level of dominion, so he will have enough HP to survive the search and reincarnate even if he doesn't.

Re: 6 hp?
The most common Doms2 undead-damaging sity seemed to be the nature site 'sacred grove' (or something like that). While it does sound 'holy' it is found with the nature skill... the holy sites that damaged undead seemed to be rare.
Have things changed in Doms3? If not then nature's definitely worth trying.
I /think/ that undead damaging sites actually deal fire damage, so resistance to that protects you... but I could be wrong...
Anyway, I'm sure that the effects can kill a 6hp creature. If your pretender's outside his dominion then move him fast! I'm sure that the effects can kill a 6hp creature

It's a master lich, which has base hitpoints of 5, so he's actually almost certainly in positive dominion.

Re: 6 hp?
I forgot he gets bonus hitpoints for being in his own dominion. I can always wait for dominion to grow before attempting to search that site.
Thanks

Re: 6 hp?
Immortality also only works in friendly dominion, which is an even more important reason than the HP bonus to wait until the province is firmly in the white.
